Ah, my bad. I thought you meant that young fighters need to look at them in the same vein - not as a contrast.
No doubt, but back in the day (before the sport evolved) their style was what kept them at the top of the heap. I mean, Wanderlei seemed unbeatable back in 2005 and he definitely dished out a lot more punishment than he took. Those head stomps
MMA fighters finally learning how to slip punches pretty much decimated the whole Chute Boxe academy. They had their era - now it's time for new fighters to shine.

Breaks my heart to see Shogun get knocked out in 34 seconds brehs. By a late replacement too. I was watching this UFC video on his fighting spirit before the fight.. had my hopes up.. then

one of the contestants was hoping to use the money to get his daughter a surgery cause she had some illness that deaded all the nerves in her face so she could never smile. He won his first fight with a knockout. Made it to the semis but came down with some nasty skin rash that took him out of the tournament. The guy had to be quarantined for a few days. Then on the last episode Dana White has a sit down with him and tells him they'll be flying his wife and daughter in so that his daughter can be seen by a specialist so they can treat her.
The Featherweight final match is going to be crazy btw two guys with really cool kicks. The season was good only thing I noticed was a lot of the guys were lacking when it came to jiu-jitsu. A lot of brawlers.
