Out of all the Tristar fighters in the UFC that I can think of (let's include Carmont for the sake of comparison), Rory is probably the only dude that actually goes out and tries to finish. Dude wants to be as epic but GSP but actually create highlight reels instead of ground top control minutes. Looking at his fight with Penn, pretty much every other dude would've folded under that WORK.

He's still the most awkward dude in the UFC, but props to his dressing sharp for public appearances though.

No he doesn't. He could have easily finished Ellenburger who stood in front of him and did nothing. Same with Woodley who folded by the second round. Even yest. That clown Faris is counting down the minutes and telling him in the corner how many rounds is left. They don't gameplan for finishes.

I saw the fight when it happened. Robbie was tentative, i'll have to rewatch though since it's been a while. I'm not saying it was a landslide but i had robbie winning up til that point.

I only watched that fight that day it aired on TV but I think robbie beat him handily, no doubt. robbie would beat him again. rory likes staying behind his range, he's not comfortable in the pocket at all. robbie will press forward. he even stood in front of hendricks and boxed him well.

Anyway, that was an impressive finish by Rory. I can see him getting by Lawler next go around (If he doesn't get into brawl with him), but I think Hendricks would be tough to deal with it. I actually wouldn't be mad if either one of them KO him

All in all good fights yesterday. The Sweden card had good finishes and an eh main event. Nova Scotia had a nice finish in the main had a good finish in the main event and a food brawl between mr tate and assuncao.
