Get your china chin smashed in and expect your legs to go breh, aside from that and how Sergio was trying to run his knee was fine. He coudn't handle the power, and he couldn't handle Cotto strength and ability to cut off the ring, as I told you Sergio has zero anwers for a trench fight, and Cotto brought the fight to his grill from round 1

This is a fight about levels people Cotto is simply a different league of fighter, this was no handpicked eurobum, Sergio was fighting a HOF and PR legend...............

i like how you two like to say eurobums and conveniently leave out sergio beating down the most overrated bum of them of all who's less talented than murray, barker, or macklin who you 2 stan for some odd reason in Jr :pachaha:

nikkas in here really underestimating that knee...

If you would of told me his knee was in that condition I would of dropped 2 stacks on Cotto without even thinking about it...Sergio had no balance and if you have no balance you have no power...He also had zero bounce in his step and could barely move laterally...It was like watching a 70 year old man tryna box...

he came into this fight selling us that his knee is recovered and he is fine then the leg brace issue came up..but he was training fine etc. i cant really give grand credit to cotto,he did what he had to do i guess, but he is not a true middleweight champ..lol

Still mesmerized after last night, man. I had a feeling Cotto would have a chance, but I didn't think he'd be THIS good. Good God, what a performance.

And I'm glad that the folks that were so confident on Martinez are not backpedaling, and are taking this L with dignity. Sergio was a terrific talent and an exciting champion, but his body just can't go anymore. If he retires, no one would question it, and he has had an amazing career.

But back to Cotto. I know everyone talks about Cotto's left hook, and with good reason, but what's not talked about is simply how good Cotto's skills as a pure boxer are. He has great footwork, a stiff jab, and tremendous hand speed and combos. Pair that up with the great Freddie Roach, bring back more emphasis to Cotto's signature left to the body, and you got yourself a friggin' monster.

You know Freddie's been wanting another shot at Floyd since the Oscar fight (especially since he has Manny), and with Cotto performing the way he has lately, we might just be seeing Mayweather/Cotto 2 on the horizon. I don't think this year because Cotto always wants to rest with his family after a tough fight, but if he either beats GGG in a unification bout, or beats Canelo in a mega-money matchup in MSG in December, then he would have perfect leverage to get another fight with Floyd come Cinco De Mayo 2015.

Thing is he got caught with that shot causing him to buckle his knees i.e. re-injure himself.

Even more so dude kept moving. He should have stood his ground and box giving that he was the bigger man.........but he couldnt because his boxing skills are limited...

Limited as fukk breh, did I not tell you nikkas Sergio only throws jabs and straights, rinse repeat, that isn't gonna work at the elite level, his bum chinny cherrypicking ass was never a elite fighter and I hope this fight humbles his sympathizers and to see people still are slighting Cotto every and any way possible while but but butting for Sergio:pacspit:

Can't believe it bro. Shyt broke my heart to watch. Props to Cotto for looking great and taking care of business. Props to Serg for not making excuses and being a class act regardless of the knee.

It wasn't supposed to go down this way tho!! :bryan:

:rudy:

nikkas was running around this bytch talking about how Cotto was about to get smashed on. Serg gets popped with that first left hand and all of a sudden, his knee hurt and Cotto beat a cripple.

Again.... :rudy:

Big ups to Cotto for this performance from him. Everyone talking about Martinez being injured are just missing out on the greatness which is Miguel Cotto. He's been written off several times and still has come back and proven that he is an elite fighter.

That's because HBO and Dibella did a great job selling cats on his knee being healthy when it clearly wasn't...

Did you even watch the fight? How can you honestly sit here and tell me that was a healthy Sergio? :stopitslime:
