No it's not. GGG is the legit #2 guy in the division now, but Cotto can make bigger money elsewhere.
Floyd, Canelo (assuming he beats Lara), and Pacquiao (although I doubt Roach wants this fight at all) all bring more money and publicity for Cotto.
Since Cotto weighed 155 at the weigh in, he could fight anywhere from 147 to 160 and can't get criticized for what weight class he fights in.
LOL @ the MW champ fighting at 147...

Cotto ain't taking no fight south of 155 so that automatically eliminates the catchweight fighter of the decade aka Pacquiao...

The only question is will Floyd take the fight north of 155...I think he'd do it for the MW strap...

cotto cooking right now:eat:
His options are unreal. He and Floyd could get together and do 1+ milly buys easy.
Canelo would gain extra momentum being ODH and TR working together again and both have loyal fan bases. I bet that does a solid 1+ milly as well.
GGG is there and the most dangerous at 160...but with Cotto being more natural at 154, he has no immediate reason to fight him and would only have to consider him if he going to campaign there for several fights.

Sergio looked like his knees were weak from jump. Couldn't throw everything into punches. And he couldn't take a punch because he couldn't get out of the way of any punches.
