Ohio State-Michigan averaged a 9.0 rating and 19.07 million viewers on FOX “Big Noon Saturday” over the weekend, marking the largest audience for the rivalry since their #1 vs. #2 meeting in 2006 (21.04M) and the second-largest on record. The 9.0 rating is also the highest for the rivalry since their #2 vs. #3 matchup in 2016 (9.4) and the third-highest behind that year and 2006 (13.0). (That excludes a 1995 game that aired regionally on ABC and drew a 10.5 rating.)

As is typical, Ohio State-Michigan delivered easily the largest audience of the college football season. For the holiday weekend, it ranked fifth among sportscasts behind only the three NFL Thanksgiving Day games and Sunday’s NFL national window on CBS (mostly Bills-Eagles: 30.90M).

Could you imagine the #'s if Espn/Disney had the rights? :wow: they got to be kicking themselves not going harder for the Big ten. It's damn near worth it for the Game alone:dead:

I've written two columns, read a lot of articles and listened to a ton of podcasts since the Ohio State-Michigan game. One thing that needs to be said that I haven't heard anyone say is this: Ohio State didn't just lose the game, it missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to really knock your hated opponent into a dark spot. Imagine if Ohio State won how we'd be talking about Michigan and the cheating scandal today. It would have delegitimized everything Michigan accomplished the last three years. Now, it's the opposite. Ryan Day may win the Michigan game next year, but that missed opportunity in one of the biggest games in rivalry history can never be salvaged. Day could have hurt Michigan's program more in this one than any other individual game in rivalry history. He didn't. That has to be the toughest pill to swallow for Ohio State fans.

:wow:

So, Harbaugh has mentioned “nominating Sherrone Moore as a Michigan Man”, a few times lately…

That is a real thing. The Loyal Order of Angell was a not-so-secret Michigan fraternity disbanded in 2021 because of a racist (native american) past.

For the alumni in this thread which i am not, you think harbaugh is dog whistling to bring that or something like it back? Or is he just talkin?
