I think you're wrong. I think Harbaugh knows that Speight has maxed out his potential.

The only reason Peters didn't play this year is because Harbaugh didn't want to burn his redshirt. Rightfully so.

Unless Newsome makes a remarkable recovery, the OL gonna have two people thats taken meaningful snaps before. When Harbaugh took the job, I said that we compete for a championship in 2016 and 2017 is a transitional season. Im not ready to have a transitional season, im still thinking in terms of championship. My thought process is beating Florida, everyone watches it and Michigan leaping in the rankings.

Harbaugh knows damn well how many points we left in the field this year. And about 80% of them were on Speight.
You reel in Najee Harris, with Kareem Walker.. and that 2 headed dreadlock monster is gonna be fierce. Throw Evans in the mix.. with Higdon.. and we'll be just fine.
