So is jake rudock getting the job? Pros and cons of his? Didn't really pay attention to Iowa to much to know.

Everyone says Rudock is gonna start. I'm not so sure. I like sugar Shane still. If Drevno can make this OLINE even remotely good, and give Shane time in the pocket.. he's got the arm to make things happen. He's not a statue in there either. He can take off.

It's all about 2016 commit Brandon Peters though. Dude is an Andrew Luck clone.

Until then, we've got options..

Edit: I didn;t even realize that I never answered your question.

Rudock is a game manager. He's not gonna throw for 300 yards. He's not gonna throw 4 TD passes in a game neither. That's the bad part. The good part is that he's not gonna turn the ball over either. He took care of the ball at Iowa, and I'm sure he'll do the same here. Dude takes off at times too when pressured. Only problem is, our grand daddies can prolly run the 40 faster than him.

No, seriously.

Think a taller Chad Pennington. (On the Jets, not at Marshall)

well if green or Harris can show us some promise we might not be bad with a game manager type this year. Yeah next year will be crazy to see who will start qb. Well as long as I don't have to see gardners lobs to the secondary I'm good

guy from Houston? Pretty much between him and tht 6'7 dude drevno next year. Did he play at Houston at all?

yea he started for 2 years at houston. the 2nd year, is OC left, so his numbers dropped as a result, and I guess they decide they wanted to ride with the backup after that.

summer practice reports are he has the best arm and timing out of the qbs, even moreso than rudock.

6'7 dude is Gentry btw

ill tell you right now, okorn is the best qb on the team.

he will start in 2016 and 2017

I dont know breh. I like O'Korn. I think he's ok .. but lowkey .. I think we brought him in because we're trying to get our foot in the door at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. They're a feeder school to the Buckeyes and have been for some time (especially with Cris Carter coaching receivers there) .. but I take it as harbaugh figuring "Hey, if kids from a powerhouse south florida school are interested in coming up north for an education, and to play big time football, why not get a better degree, and be coached to your full potential in Ann Arbor as opposed to Columbus? :scust:"

To be honest, I think it the battle between Sugar Shane and Rudock is even close, I think Shane gets the nod. He'd start this year and then his senior year, enabling Peters to redshirt next year (Shane's senior year) and start as a Redshirt Freshman. Here's his film in case you haven't seen it yet. He has the size, touch, and arm to play at the next level right now.

Dudes also an All State wing in Indiana. (Basketball)

Oh yeah my bad. And isn't there another qb too coming in next year? Other then gentry. And if he's already used two years of eligibility won't he only have one left when e can start after sitting out this year? Or does this year not count against it.

I promise you breh:pachaha: there's no dramatic ulterior motives involved in bringing okorn up here.

harbaugh came up, looked at the roster and immediately decided the qbs weren't up to par.

okorn has been wowing everyone in off season workouts. rudock is also a superior option to shane. morris is not close to either, his decision making and accuracy just isn't close to the 5 star hype or where it should be.

both rudock and o korn have played actual game snaps, have started multiple games, have thrown TDs.

harbs brought them in because they are superior options; he didn't bring them just to bring them.

its about time to close the book on morris and speight. believe me, they won't start here.

Gentry is a true freshman this upcoming year (4*). So is Alex Malzone (4*)

As for O'Korn, he'll have a redshirt year to play aswell as his original senior year. So, he'll have 2 more years. He's using this year as a redshirt since he has to sit out a year for transferring from one Division 1 school to another.

I can see what you mean. Especially about Speight. There were rumors this Summer to him transferring out. He saw the depth chart, and saw how many QB's were brought in and he was turned off. I like Shane, but if the other 2 are ballin like you say is being reported, then deuces. I guess it'll look like Rudock this year, O'Korn the following year and enter Peters in 2017 to battle O'Korn. I'm good either way. I trust Harbaugh.

this is what I thought would happen. Just so he has two years instead of splitting the years up and also I think it will be good having a backup who really wants to start between rudock and Morris. So if the starter fukks up someone will be there

Went undefeated or one loss with Steven threet though or that might have been 09. All the kids around here with any skill wanna trap and do drugs. And not go to school at all.
