I thought he couldn't meet Michigan's requirements.

That was the word for about 2-3 weeks .. as to why Michigan cooled on him. Everyone believed it because at the very same time, Notre Dame and Stanford cooled off too. So it made sense. Nobody ever came out and said it tho .. kinda to keep the kids business out of the news. I can understand that.

I do recall 2 weeks ago, before e announced .. a reporter asked if Michigan was still in the picture, and instead of saying no, he said 'no comment' ... I took that as him not being 100% sure that he wouldn't qualify.
