it was a busted coverage and not wink's fault.

people are being hard on old dude and glossing over some of the bad gams macdonald and even minter called.

wink doesnt have the luxury of a good offense that wont keep his defense on the field, cerebral upperclassmen (Rod ) or depth to keep his defense fresh.

doesn't excuse some of the excessive blitzing but he does seem to be adapting game by game to college.
