Don’t care where he went. Just not here stunting the growth of this team with his inaccurate throws and mud duck deep throws that receivers gotta stand and wait on.Pro where? The AAF?

Someone paid Aubrey Solomon to leave. I refuse to believe anything else.Got home about an hour and a half ago. Watched the game. I'ma give you fellas that didn't follow the team during the offseason, the lowdown. (This is gonna be my last offseason following them religiously if changes haven't come.. and thats still up in the air.)
*Gattis was brought in to rehaul the whole offense. He was apparently given full reigns to run whatever he wants. After game 1, it looks like that may actually be the case. Lets see what happens in crunch time, against a much better team. Lets see if Harbaugh buts out and lets the man do his thing.
*I'm not the biggest fan of Runyan at LT, but the lines built continuity.. so for the sake of that, I hope he gets back ASAP. Hayes (started at LT) and Mayfield (started at RT) are both freshman. Those 2 cant be the starters come conference play. I was a bit unhappy with the overall play of the OLine, until I realized how MTSU went all Don Brown on us and sent the house on damn near 60-70% of our pass plays. Its hard to keep the QB clean with they're sending 6,7, or 8 dudes. With that said.. I think they did ok.
*I guess I'm in the minority.. but I think the offense played fine. They had a couple of drops, but lets chalk that up to jitters. Nico didn't have a single drop all of last year, and he had TWO tonight alone. A couple things.. please scrap that play with both QB's in the game at the same time, only to throw a screen to him. Thats a hell of a way to get your backup QB killed. Secondly, I get that they like Ronnie Bell.. but DAYUM. Homie was the #1 read on A LOT of plays today. One thing that kills me (that we did last year) that seems like we're still gonna do, is run those damn fades in the end zone.. while targeting our shortest receivers while doing so. We've got Nico (6'5) TARIK (6'4) and Cornelius Johnson (6'3) ... but we run them fades with Saintrisil, and Bell. That gets me tight.
*I'm not happy with the defense AT ALL. We're too thin up front, man. We're gonna get run the fukk through. Dwumfour is supposed to be our anchor in the middle along with Carlo Kemp.. but D-four cant stay healthy for shyt. And Kemp is as light as our tight ends it looks like. Thats why I never understand why everyones so happy when reports come back that our interior lineman are thinner and looking better. What the fukk for? We need them to clog the middle. There's zero reason Ben Mason should be playing a majority of the snaps on the D line. I should've known tho. He's legit Harbaugh's favorite player.
I got more, but I got a headache.
Edit: Charbonnet is gonna be a damn beast. I love his game.

Yeah I hate when they throw fades to our short WRs. If it's not to DPJ, Nico, Tarik, and CJ I don't want to see it. Ever time we get into the redzone there should 100% alway be a fade thrown to those 3. As for the defense I expect them to take a step back this season. We just don't have the same caliber players on the D Line like we're use to. I did think Ambry Thomas looked good out here. Popped out on the screen. Vincent Gray also looked good especially his open field tackles. Still hope he has the foot speed to keep with other Big 10 WR. Charbonnet runs with power the 41 yard run was especially that juke cut move.
Michigan Monday: Maize and Blue Raiders | The-Ozone
Michigan Monday is up. Written by a Buckeye. Every week. It's usually a great write up.. and he didn't disappoint this week. I agree with everything he says.
I was just about to post this, this was good, i looked at the game film of the defense, on mgoblog
I said:
We gotta take better angles
D line in the middle needs to get shored up
Don Brown don’t believe fat meat is greasy, he has to adapt, you had three wr set close to the formation, they are running off that, you had like one defender trying to contain that side initially, they got a little better towards the end, but still we can’t afford for him to adapt the following week,
I hope they know they will see that game plan x3 this week
Pass rush looks good, run defense looks soft
Word is, Dwumfour and Donovan Jeter are a full 'go' this weekend, so thats gonna help clog the middle. Add the 2 freshman to them (5* Christ Hinton and 4* Mazi Smith) and thats decent depth. Add to that Carlo Kemp and Ben Mason. As long as we can clog up the middle, I'm comfortable with letting our LB'ers make plays on the ends.
