Matt Asiata rushed 15 times for 72 yards in Thursday night's loss to the Packers.

Asiata got the majority of carries over Jerick McKinnon, who finished with 10 touches. He failed to secure all three of his targets and lost a fumble in the second quarter. Asiata is averaging 3.7 yards per carry in four starts and will continue to lose work to McKinnon going forward. He'll be a touchdown-dependent RB2/3 in Week 6 against the Lions.

Zimmer told reporters he'd like to get get Asi more touches and McKinnon fewer than last week...Apparently the fukking idiot now realizes it's not smart letting Teddy get sacked 9 times because McKinnon can't pass block...

I think people are a bit too excited about McKinnon. It's not guaranteed that just because McKinnon was the guy against the tough Detroit defense that Asiata is out of the picture moving forward. I bet it's far closer to 50-50 split this week and Asiata can catch passes and gets the goal line stuff.

No matter who you read in the fantasy columns it seems almost unanimous that Crowell is the future in Cleveland and looks far more explosive than Tate in limited snaps. Will we have to wait for a Tate injury for Crowell to leap frog Tate on the depth chart?
