You really think we don't get any respect? In what ways? The general public is on our nuts IMO. I wear a USMC t shirt and I got all kinds of strangers speaking to me and shyt.

I could not wake up to her voice every day. I would strangle that broad

I don't know how I missed that. Yeah he on some other shyt.

Show started off kind of slow for me but it definitely picked up.
When that bullet hit the glass at Rawlins safe house I woulda shyt my pants:heh:
And that final fight was fukking brutal. I was :scusthov: when he raked his face across the mirror. Damn Jigsaw, I did not see that coming. Punisher with that Wolverine healing factor too, just like in DD. Didn't bother me at all tho
We get too much respect IMO. When people learn I was in the Corps they start going to far with the thank you and shyt. shyt I never deployed and all I basically was was a glorified warehouse worker! :heh: I only fired a rifle in boot camp and MCT and I barely qualified as a marksman! :pachaha:

You right tho, it is damn near too much. But if people wanna give me free shyt for being a vet, I'm not turning it down. I went to Outback to pick up some food wearing a USMC hoodie and some dude told the waitress to put my food on his bill. I ask for a veteran discount damn near everywhere I go now.

I'ma catch some heat, but I like Karen and Frank's relationship dynamic.

Like the scene when she showed up. She's sitting there can barely look at him, trembling with tears in her eyes. She just wanted to know he was okay, felt hurt that he didn't let her know he was alive and was just using her for information. :mjcry:

IN a lot of ways she's way more comfortable with Frank than she is with Matt. I think she feels like Matt can't relate to her pain. :to:

Meanwhile, Frank clearly sees her as family/a friendzoned broad, keeps her at a distance and isolated.... which is in itself one of the main themes of the series.

edit: sorry for the my lil pony post, blame this tequila.

It's a good relationship. I know her scenes don't all work but their relationship definitely does. Everything you said is spot on. Frank cares for her in a way Matt doesn't because Matt is slightly selfish. Frank, for all his faults, isn't a selfish cat. He's always putting others before him and doesn't want people caught up in his bullshyt. And I think Karen appreciates having someone in her life who isn't so caught up in their own drama that they forget about the feelings of others around them or don't realize how their actions affect the people around them. Frank knows how he impacts everyone else, which is why he keeps people at a distance.

They really are like two sides of the same coin, right (Matt and Frank)

Matt LOVES trying to be the martyr, suffering for everybody else. Him feeling like shyt as long as everyone else is okay is fine. Dresses like a devil. I blame Catholicism.

Frank feels like he died the moment his family did and is in his own personal hell. Suffers physically, mentally, emotionally. Keeps folks at bay, pokerfaces the hellish pain. Simply walks through it.

Matt: :damn: Can't you see I'm doing this so YOU can be safe!?

Frank: :demonic: I don't want you to partake in my suffering. I'm okay.

Yeah the Catholic guilt. I'm not Catholic but I went to a Catholic HS and freshman and sophomore year religion classes really showed me how much guilt there is in the Catholic teachings. The teachers didn't impress that upon us and definitely put a modern spin on it but yeah its heavy. Even as a Christian, that guilt is there. shyt it's one reason I identify with Matt and Peter Parker because they carry that guilt with them and I get it. It's easier to put yourself on the cross for other people *shrug*

That’s my order at least..
I give Punisher a 10 all day:whew:
I would switch season 1 of Dare Devil with 2 but other than that I agree with this list.
Series is well worth the watch if you are into dark/gritty/serious tone shyt.

Also, that final fight :damn:

Update: You know what, I forgot that Frank was in Season 2 of DD. I would have DD seasons 1 and 2 together on my list with Cage being second and the rest of the list being the same
