I am pleasantly surprised with the behind the scenes people they have gotten for this show especially with it airing on fukking Freeform.
Prince-Bythewood is a good director and the EP from Underground (who has actual comic book writing experience) as showrunner has me more excited for this than I ever thought I would be.

Yesterday we reported that Gina Prince-Bythewood is set to direct Marvels Cloak And Dagger pilot for Freeform Tv. Well, it looks like we finally got some casting news for the upcoming marvel series!
According to our friends the MCUexchange, Marvel has cast the leads for the upcoming Cloak and Dagger series. According to their source, Noah Gray-Cabey (Heroes, Code Black) and Debby Ryan (Jessie, Radio Rebel) have been cast as Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen, respectively.
While digging for more info MCUexchange found some very interesting social media activity that could tie the two actors to the show.
Joe Pokaski, the showrunner for Cloak and Dagger, followed Noah on twitter . The majority of the people Pokaski follows on Twitter are either people he has worked with or people associated with Marvel. They also found out that Ryan follows the official Marvel Cloak and Dagger Twitter page. We all know following people on twitter doesn’t really mean much, but Ryan doesn’t follow that many people and she’s also already in the Disney family so it could definitely be a possibility!
Synopsis: The interracial romance between Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers while falling in love. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart — but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.
