Hiding Negga under all of that ugly make-up is not cool. Hopefully No-Eyes can teach her how to switch back.I figured you'd be saddened to be robbed of Ruth Negga's beautiful visage
And the bolded is exactly what the review at the AV Club said

Eh, I just think it rings a bit hollow having the support team to the Avengers (including a couple scientists) acting all funky over super-powers and aliens and shyt.I don't think the Skye secret is going to last too long. Even in the preview for next week they show SIF going after her and Skye telling Coulson that's she's causing all the earthquakes. I think they wanted to hold off on the Skye reveal so you could hear how the rest of the team feels about the "inhumans". Like for instance, you know can assume that Simmons is going to be on Stark's side during Civil War after the way she voiced her opinion last night. She flat out said they need to kill Raina and even May was surprised. I think we needed to hear the other team members opinion before they knew about Skye...
I was 50/50 about this episode.
What I liked:
Coulson using extreme prejudice in taking out the remaining members of the Hydra council was great and was the type of "Nikita" style gritty spy stuff that I have always wanted to see from this show.
Reina's storyline is great. She has every reason to be freaked out and her being so close to killing herself added even more dimensions to an already complex character. And having her be the one rescued by No-Eyes works for me because she was a million times more interesting than Skye even before she got turned into an Inhuman.
What I didn't like:
Everything having to do with Skye in this episode was terrible. They are doing exactly what I hoped they wouldn't do with her powers by making her be secretive about it; the crew being all anti-powers and now Fitz hiding Skye's change as if that makes sense in any way at all.
The memorializing of Tripp was a bit hollow because in Season 1 Tripp was a character with a lot of potential; in Season 2 he was almost non-existent. So having every sit around talking about him and how great his loss will be didn't really work for me as a viewer because we barely saw Tripp at all before they killed him off.
Dude, last night's episode of AOS was almost nothing but overblown melodrama.

Tripp was actually in more episodes in Season 2, and has the most appearances outside of the main 6. Not bad considering he was splitting time between AOS and Being Mary Jane.
SPOILERS! With SHIELD back, Jim and Eric discuss the events in "Aftershocks" and the continuing Inhumans storyline.
Sky has been the focal point of the show since the first episode of this showSeason 2 episode 12 was pretty solid. Theme of the episode was Secrets, Secrets and more secrets! Can't wait to see Skye Unleashed! Lol. She's definitely going to be the focal point for the second half of the season as the decision to keep her or let her go will split the team into two. If she's able to control her powers, she's an asset. If not, she's a serious liability. With that being said, I wonder if Skye will appear in the InHumans movie...hmmm.

Fitz dying would have been the best move narratively. it would have provided a much better motivation for Mac going HAM on Coulson, Skye hiding her powers out of guilt and Simmons all of a sudden becoming bloodthirsty.Probably would've worked better with Mac being the one who died. Mainly because he got more screentime this season and has been a big part helping out Fitz.
