Best episode of the season so far. Mockingbird looked bad ass when she fought those Hydra agents (even if they bit off the Black Widow in IM2 scene).

Edit: They better step up their game for next week's episode. The Avengers trailer might be the only thing they can do to get viewers back.

I can't take Skye's dad seriously with him working as an underground doctor for low level crooks and driving around in that old ass station wagon.
Whitehall is a bit lame too.
The only compelling villain this show has is Reina and they seem intent on making her damn near powerless.

Ratings have actually been pretty good for S.H.I.E.L.D this year. Of course they would love as many viewers as possible but its not doing too bad...

Dude RATINGS have not been GOOD at all. 4.7 million and dropping when you started off at nearly 13 MILLION when you 1st debuted? Both Gotham and Flash are currently doing better than AoS right now, especially Gotham! This is the sole reason why they shoehorned the Avengers trailer into the next episode, just to get their ratings up. It's been going consistently downhill week after week.

Yeah I just read the numbers for last night..1.5, 4.29 million viewers. They keep hitting new lows every week. That's not good. I like the show now and it's infinitely better than last season but that momentum may not mean a thing if this keeps going as it is. Shyt may be 2 seasons and out

Word... it's unfortunate that this season been pretty decent, but many have been jumping ship. I think a lot of it is also due to them trying to again ride that wave until Avengers 2 like they did with Captain America... So, in spite the show being better than it was last season, it is STILL mostly filler stuff just to set up the next big film. I also noticed they regressed from using capable B-listed villains again.. I mean, they started off GREAT with Absorbing Man and what not, but now it's mostly melodrama between Sky's background & her pops, Coulson's mental issues, and Fitz's recovery (which I DO enjoy watching). I only WISH the new guys of the team got more attention and it seems like they are underused. Other than that, this show is a VAST improvement from last season and MAYBE this is the final chance they can get to pull in viewers, because I am sure this is costing ABC some money based on budget for this show.

I DO have one huge question that maybe or maybe not a plot hole, or I just supposed to suspend belief here. Who is funding SHIELD now since they no longer getting it from the government? I got a feeling it was something that was already settled that I overlooked.

Yeah I think ABC has got to be losing a pretty penny on this but it's all Disney so that's one reason the show is continuing. Had it been on any other network losing viewers at this rate, it would've been bushes status months ago
