Tyler Ulis been showing out at the MCDAA practices. My next point gawd :blessed:

Tyler Ulis

Simply put, Ulis is the consummate point guard. He has the vision, handle, quickness, passing skills and shooting ability to make all the plays despite being an undersized point guard. On top of his ability to run the show offensively, Ulis also is a determined defender. His quickness gives a lot of opposing point guards trouble.

Emmanuel Mudiay

Mudiay has spent a lot of time playing shooting guard here in Chicago, but I expect him to have the ball in his hands a good bit in the game. One reason why is because he is a terrific defensive rebounder. His shot is hit or miss at this stage like other great point guards before him such as Derrick Rose and John Wall, but he is as naturally gifted as any player in this class.

Stanley Johnson

A physical beast, Johnson is the best wing prospect in the class and arguably the top prospect overall in the class. It will be interesting to see how much h asserts himself in the game, but fans will see that the Arizona signee has the complete package.

Kelly Oubre

Kansas is getting a special player in Oubre. He is a one through four defender, a prolific rebounder as a wing and can make all the plays offensively. Oubre is an unusual player as an ultra talented glue guy.

Jahlil Okafor

A highly intelligent player who can control horizontal space, Okafor is at his best when he is distributing the ball as a high level passer. The question for the game is how much he will try to assert himself as a scorer against the shot blocking of Myles Turner.

Rashad Vaughn

A silky smooth wing scorer, Vaughn could have a big scoring night if he hits a couple shots early. His overall game is solid but it is his scoring ability that makes him special.

Trey Lyles

He isn't overly athletic, but there are not many big men with as solid a game as Lyles. An all star format might not be the ideal setting for him, but the Kentucky signee will hold his own.

Devin Booker

Don't be surprised if Booker puts up big scoring numbers in the game. At 6-5, he has length for a shooting guard, a silky smooth shooting touch and the Kentucky signee is crafty with the basketball.

Grayson Allen

Look for Allen, who is headed to Duke, to break some racial stereotypes. He is far from a spot up in the corner shooting guard. Allen is best in transition where he loves to attack the basket with his athleticism.

Joel Berry

The best part of Berry's game is his defensive ability. The North Carolina signee will likely be called upon to hold Maryland Melo Trimble in check.

Reid Travis

It wouldn't surprise me if the Stanford signee was an x-factor in the game. The key is that his offensive game is more about scoring around post defenders and not over post defenders.

Thomas Welsh

Perhaps the most debatable selection in the game, Welsh can hold his own against the top big men in the country. However, I wouldn't expect the UCLA signee to have a big impact on the game.

EAST

Cliff Alexander

Despite having an injured wrist, Alexander is expected to play in the game. The best athlete of the big men in the game, Alexander will have his share of impressive dunks and and blocked shots. The Kansas signee is the top post prospect in the country and a candidate to take over the top spot overall.

Myles Turner

Right behind Alexander is Turner as the second best post prospect in the country. Turner's ability to shoot the ball with range separates himself from the other big men in the class. Turner, who is unsigned, is also a lethal shot blocker.

Tyus Jones

The Duke signee will do a great job steering the offense at Duke, but I'm not expecting him to be a dominant player in an all star setting.

Justin Jackson

At 6-8, Jackson has the most intriguing scoring game of all the wings. He has a soft touch anywhere on the court, and his floater is a lethal weapon. Expect him to have a couple scores that get the North Carolina faithful excited about next year.

Kevon Looney

Looney is a smooth operator as a skilled power forward. There isn't a lot of flash to the UCLA signee's game, but he is always effective.

Theo Pinson

I'm expecting a couple jaw dropping plays from the North Carolina signee. But beyond his ability to make the athletic highlight play, Pinson has the ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Karl Towns Jr.

It can certainly be argued that Towns Jr. has has much upside as any post player in the class. The key is for him to develop a harder edge to his game. It will be interesting to see if he just blends in or tries to make a statement during the game.

Isaiah Whitehead

This Seton Hall signee is a terrific talent but the problem is that he will likely be guarded by either Stanley Johnson or Kelly Oubre, who are two of the best wing defenders in the class.

Justise Winslow

Look for this Duke signee to make an impact on the game in other ways than scoring. Winslow can score but he excels has a high level glue guy.

D'Angelo Russell

The Ohio State signee isn't a flashy player so watch him closely. He has one of the more complete and versatile games of all the guards in the class.

James Blackmon Jr.

There might not be a prettier jump shot in the class. The Indiana signee has been dialed in during his time in Chicago, and I expect that to continue.

Melo Trimble

Like Russell, Trimble isn't a flashy player, but he is efficient and effective. The Maryland signee plays with great strength as a playmaker and has a lethal shooting stroke. He will probably play as the second string point guard, but I like him best at the shooting guard as primarily a scorer and secondary ball handler.
