I'm looking at these pictures and these women are baddies.
Guarantee "not attractive enough" = "not all blone white girls with flat butts.

bianca, taynara conti, toni, marti, candice, zeda, tessa, miranda salinas, rhea ripley, vanessa borne, kairi, lacey evans, santana, xia li, sarah logan, mia yim and renee michelle are all just as good looking as the average main roster woman, so yeah "not hot enough" definitely must've meant "too many minorities / not enough fake t*ts"

Lacey Evans got potential as a babyface. She plays the military angle but isn't corny about it.

Yeah I was surprised Vanessa Borne lost. Serena Deeb is the Brian Kendrick of this tournament, as in she used to work here and she's a veteran so they trust her.

Mia Yim is more than ready. They definitely need to sign her. Same for Santana Garrett.

Santana looks great I don't know why she's always jobbing. Has she ever won any matches in NXT?

It was a solid first round. They certainly didn't put in as much effort into the booking as they did with the CWC, very basic face vs heel stories in every match and a bunch of lazy roll-up finishes. They got some good talent here though, some of these women really don't need to spend much time in NXT outside of maybe working on their promo skills.

How did Johnny Gargano manage to marry someone who's as big a natural babyface as he is? I just want to see them be in peril and overcome the odds together, brehs.

Well, they're signed to a promotion run by Vince McMahon so they'll have to overcome booking odds sooner than later.
