Pentagon

:duncan:
This man Pentagon gets louder pops than errbody. Lame ass Striker actually did a good job of picking this up and mentioning the seeds of jealousy.

For me, he's the hypest dude in the biz right now.

Something noteworthy about LU that nobody is discussing: Their interesting use of gringo wrestling gimmicks.

Most, if not all of the non-hispanic wrestlers play characters associated with the American southwest and California. Bikers, long-haired surfer types, etc.

Great match between Johnny Mundo and Killshot. Backflips over the top rope, spears outside of the ring, kicking out the legs when on the top rope, shyt was just pure whoa! :whew:

'Brother, he just knocked his pancreas out of his nostril!':gladbron:
'Thanks for the visual, Vamp!':francis:

GOAT commentary.:blessed:

Cage and Mundo on the mic delivering better promo's than 90% of the WWE roster. And I love how they basically got everybody gunning for Mil Muertes instead of being on some nonsensical 'Only one guy challenges the champion at a time' bullshyt.

PJ Black might've lost his debut match but they did the same thing with King Cuerno in the first season which sparked his long-ass feud against Drago. Also, everybody's favorite Pentagon Jr started out as a jobber as well before he took his turn into darkness and started sacrificing for his master. This is a wrestling promotion that understands a loss isn't something that pushes a wrestler back, it is something they grow from.

Anyway, you can tell The Mack is just incredible because he looks like a fat fukk but it never bothers you because he goes so damn hard. Kinda like Kevin Owens except he has no problem having his gut out and everything.

Kobra Moon has to be the most Mortal Kombat-esque name yet. You can tell they want to delve into that kind of fukkery so bad. :russ:

Main event was kinda 'eh' if you ask me but the Disciples Of Death are pretty much glorified jobbers and it was obviously more intended to push the feud between Puma and Pentagon, but you gotta love the attention to details in continuity such as Melissa Santos announcing Pentagon Jr with disgust.

Will drop gifs later because Imgur is fukking up right now.

Mundo still isn't that great on the mic. He's passable but he really excels in pre-recorded promos which we saw last season.

'Passable' is a bit too critical me thinks, it might just be because it was actually to the point and well-written, but shyt was dope. Although Cage definitely came off stronger on the mic.

Pentagon Jr is my new favorite masked wrestler taking the top spot from the always amazing La Parka. Pentagon Jr is just awesome in look and style and how swagged out he is. Muertas is just holding that belt for Pentagon.

And those vignettes for PJ Black and Kobra Moon were cool as fukk. "Darewolf" is a really stupid nickname though. And I was totally shocked that Williw Mack got the win over PJ in his debut.

Gotta give props to Matt Striker for sneaking in a Norvell Austin reference during the Mack/Black match too. That's a guy who knows his rasslin' history.
