Not sure how I feel about Sexy Star beating Pentagon Jr. like that though. I guess it's necessary for the storyline but it felt a bit off, especially since Pentagon Jr. got way more offense in.

i didnt like the end of that sexy Star match either...i thought she would have at least hit one more finisher on him before winning.

I liked it. If they're really gonna treat the women as equals, then I'm cool with them allowing her to get a win off her finisher, just like a dude would.

I hate when finishers are devalued more than anything else.

I wish Sexy Star would have used 2 lungblowers instead of one before pinning Pentagon Jr. but still a good match.

Angelico I wasn't impressed with him before but now...... wow just wow.

In this episode Ivelisse wrestled in 2 matches with a broken ankle.

just felt like she took way more of a beating than she gave..thats the only reason why another move sequence or finish could have helped for me...she took this ass whooping and won with a finisher that didnt look like it did much. im cool with the equal matches tho.

Kind of a transition episode this week. Killshot and Fenix had a good match, that DDT reversal by Killshot was nice.

I totally forgot LU had their own group of jobbers, lol. I actually expected Pentagon Jr. come back to collect their souls, not Texano.

lol @ the moth dude. I wonder if that was just a one-off thing to protect Cage and Cuerno in the match against Hernandez or we'll actually going to be seeing more of this dude.

Shame to see Drago go, but I figured it was gonna happen since the moment they revealed the stipulation, that whole match series with Aerostar felt like a farewell run. Good story building with Puma, Konnan and Hernandez as well.

Just caught last week's episode and :wow: at that trios match

Angelico is insane for doing that dive, Cortez and Bael(I think?) barely caught him

This week's episode was decent.

I'm actually interested to see what they're going to do with Marty the Moth. He looked like he was going to win Tough Enough a few years ago until he got injured. They took the time to introduce him in a vignette so I assume he'll be a regular on LU.

This episode was good as hell.

:russ: @ Johnny Mundo calling Hernandez "Fernandez" in the opening promo.

Ivelisse's constant bytching on Son of Havoc and Angelico during the Trios match. :deadrose:

Son of Havoc tagging/smacking a wobbly Angelico who falls through the ropes out of the ring. :deadmanny:

:heh: @ Melissa Santos going "Oh shyt!" midway through her announcement of Texano when she saw him running to the ring. And of course Daivari hitting Texano with the microphone.

:ooh: @ Cage of all wrestlers hitting a 619 on Puma and the expected heel turn by Hernandez with an "OH shyt" Border Toss onto the apron. :damn:

And of course, "Holy fukking shyt!" @ that match between Mundo and Alberto. Those guys put on a fukking clinic!

I mean, that spot with the gimmicked steps breaking off because of Mundo's 'miscalculation' alone would've made the match, but they were just getting started!

That Alberto rope grab at the 2 and a half count after being hit with The End Of The World. :gladbron:

Then Mundo threw his whole body around to put his leg on the rope and escape Alberto's arm bar submission. :mindblown:

"Both of these guys are fan favorites, if you're a comic book fan, I guess it's like Captain America vs. Iron Man. If you hate me for that one, I'm SORRY! I just saw the movie, I can't help it." Striker out here marking for Marvel too. :dead:

"Alberto has DEFIED The End Of The World, Johnny has DEFIED the submission, what's left for these two?!" You tell me, Striker. :lupe:

Then that ending with the kick out of nowhere and a gassed Alberto falling on top of Mundo rather than actually pinning him. Great shyt!

And last but not least, Mil Muertes and Catrina back, which gives me a good reason to post this gif again.

I'm glad Texano let Daivari finish his Hennessey before jumping him. Melissa Santos was smart.

Good show all around, in interested in the Hernandez/Puma/Konnan dynamic, and Alberto and Mundo stole the show.

Another great episode.

Excellent debut by Jack Evans with a lot of big spots.

A ridiculous 7 man match in which they somehow managed to make everyone look strong. The prize? One of seven mystical Aztec medallions that combined can grant immortality. Because fukk science!

And of course, the Alberto/Hernandez match which wasn't as important as what happened in it, Johnny Mundo's heel turn, accompanied by a typical crazy-ass Lucha Underground spot.
