(not gonna lie I thought it as soon as the bar scene happened. I'll drop my thoughts on the full show later)

Apparently she had this to say about WWE, could only find it on one forum so it's either fake or was deleted.

Ms Santos at WrestleMania... Hmmm tell me after Lucha Underground do you have any interest in WWE? You'd make for an amazing Valet

Melissa Elizabeth Santos After Lucha Underground? I'm not going anywhere and there will be no "after" with Lucha Underground. We are here to stay. Why would I be a valet at WWE? So they can turn me into some stereotypical "Latina" who is kissing ass to some dude? No thank you. I prefer to perform from a place of power and respect.

Every time I've seen Rey work in LU I've been impressed with his ringwork/movement. Leaving the E really did him a world of good.

Funny what not having to work 300 days a year will do for you

I always wondered why they would have a ref in the ring for casket matches. It's pretty much no holds barred, ref should just be on the outside to end the match once someone is locked in.

The refs aren't just refs, they set up spots for wrestlers and tell them how much time they have left and when to wrap things up

Lucha Underground is currently taping through June and the current goal from the promotion is to have at least 100 hours of content completed after the tapings for season three are complete. The main reason for this is because 100 hours of content is a very attractive number for distributors trying to sell shows into syndication. As previously reported, the promotion is hoping to land a Mexican TV deal. The idea behind Lucha Underground is that it is not a traditional wrestling product, and instead relies heavily on episodic storytelling.

In other Lucha Underground news, the company is now looking into running live events. As of this writing, there are no live events booked but they are in talks with several venues. One of the hold ups is that they are trying to search for venues that can look similar to the Temple on Boyle Heights, which is where they tape their TV broadcasts. The company is also looking at running smaller venues that have similar layouts.

One of the "weaker" LU episodes so to speak, but still entertaining. That casket match was good but a bit slow. The punch through the casket spot was both :russ: and :whoa:. I also wasn't expecting Matanza to win either, thought that match was setting up more for Mil Muertes to stand tall. Good story-telling and writing in general for this show.

Also, Rey looks so much more conditioned in LU compared to his last half decade in the WWE. Dude was looking like a bloated masked Taz in the WWE, and in LU looks better than he has in years

Entertaining episode, but they were always going to struggle to follow last week which might be the best hour of wrestling TV I've ever witnessed.

Aztec Medallion match was a bit out of nowhere, but Joey Ryan's playing that sleazeball cop role nicely... something reminds me of Rick Rude in his performance.

Trios Championship match was good, but didn't quite connect with me. Right result and a nice nod to passing the torch between Rey and Puma.

Graver Consequences intro :blessed: Mil grabbing the camera during his entrance :blessed:Katrina:blessed: Mil punching through the casket :blessed:Katrina disappearing :blessed:but overall not on the level of Grave Consequences and certainly nothing on No Mas last week.

Even a mediocre LU episode is better than anything the E are producing right now tbh.:manny:
