When I was working for EE/T-Mobile, the G2 was rated so highly within the company. It was definitely the best android phone on the market. If I wasn't a part of #JobsGang I'd get the G3.

What was it rated on? Customer experience, internal experience, number of problem calls?

Internal experience and performance/specifications. It was so hard to push to customers because those that weren't in the know would immediately say "But it ain't Samsung though :scusthov:" but the ones that did get it always gave us good feedback.

LG's & Nexus seem to be the android phones that only the phone nerds get.

I thought that the Z2 was going to be my phone but as I found out more and more about it I began to lose interest. Right now the G3 really has my attention. I've seen the supposed specs and they look good. If the battery life is top notch I'll probably get it. Otherwise I'll leave it where it is.

Only galaxy phones I would mess with these days are the note series. I think I'm rolling with either this lg or maybe the z2.

Samsung is not worried about LG. Stop someone randomly on the street and they're more likely to have a Samsung phone than they are to even own anything by LG.

LG's smart tvs are piff because of the WebOs architecture it runs on.
I wish Palm never dropped the fukking ball on... you guessed it, build quality... for their Pre/Pixi phones.
:snoop:

I haven't handled any of LG's latest phones but HTC and LG deciding to increase the quality of the materials they are using for their phones has impressed me. Wish one of them had the money that Samsung is throwing into marketing because the Galaxy series is garbage.

Copping the m8 this month (primary line). Never had an LG phone but the specs and reviews for their latest line of phones has me :ohhh:. I usually go with a phablet for my second line so it's going to be a toss up between this and the note 4.

LG-G3-leak-2014-05-02-02.jpg

Earlier this week, LG said that the G2 successor would be called the G3 and launch before July -- nothing terribly shocking. Now we get to see what the upcoming device (allegedly) looks like, thanks to leaks from GSM Arena and a Korean site called Seeko. The two images seem to show different body plastics, though the device shown by Seeko (at the source) has no logo and could be a prototype. Other notable design changes from the G2 are narrower bezels and new rear buttons. Spec-wise, GSM Arena's tipster said it'll have a 3,000mAh battery, microSD slot and come in 2GB and 3GB RAM versions with 16GB and 32GB of storage, respectively. We're also expecting a Quad HD display, so hopefully it's more grippy than it looks in the pics -- we'd hate to break that.

This might be my next phone, still not sure about the buttons on the back :patrice:
