Jet plays Jimmy, a member of a Wu Shu team visiting San Francisco. When waiting at the airport to fly home Tiger makes a run for it, hoping to start a new life in America. Jimmy chases after him and after a brief confrontation Jimmy decides to let him stay. Unfortunately Tiger kills a policeman who asks him for ID and Jimmy is blamed as Tiger was carrying his wallet and dropped it at the scene. This forces Jimmy to go on the run from the law and is taken in by Andy(Chow), a young Chinese man who works in his father's grocery store. Meanwhile Tiger finds work as bodyguard and hitman for a local crime lord and it's not long before the two former friends are forced to confront one another once and for all.

With much fear, he feels pain. In communicating with each other, the two of them realize that they have lost their memories. Suspicion has thus arisen. The air in the secret room is getting thin. The woman loses her senses. She has decided to pull out the knife from the man to get the key. Eventually, she succeeds. They leave the room, They walk unsteadily in the opposite directions. Later on, the man discovers he himself is the target of the kidnap! Moreover, he finds a corpse of a young female on the floor. He recollects she is his girlfriend. He regains most of his memory... He alleges that the woman is the kidnapper. Is she really the kidnapper?

Lau plays Wang Chin-chin, who is both the 11th prince and an expert fighter. Wang has fun secretly subverting a local con-man, the inept Ho Chi (Wong Yue), but blackmails the crook into becoming his student after making it look like a B-girl named Choi Hung (Kara Hui) has poisoned Ho and beaten him up in a nightclub. Prince Wang is on his way to the palace for the announcement of the heir, but doesn't really want to rule. His major function has been to prevent his brothers from falling victim to assassins, so Wang knows that there are forces who wish to see him killed before he reaches the palace. He brings Ho along with him, because, although his new sidekick can't fight very well, he could still prove useful in the event of an ambush. The two face various perils together, including a spectacularly staged attack in the wastelands near a village's typhoon wall and a group of comically effeminate attackers who seem to masochistically enjoy being beaten up. Eventually, Wang teaches Ho enough about kung-fu for the reforming con-man to protect him so they can get to the palace.
