The Eternals, will soon be seen in
The Roundup, the sequel to his 2017 hit,
The Outlaws.
The first film β directed by Kang Yoon-Sung β was based on the true story of a 2007-era police operation that saw a sweeping round-up of gangs in the Guro District of Seoul.
The second film marks the debut feature of newcomer Lee Sang-young. Returning co-stars include Park Ji-hwan (
1987: When The Day Comes), Heo Dong-won (
Ode To My Father), Choi Gwi-hwa (
The Drug King), Ha Jun (
Festival). New cast members include Son Suk-ku (
Black Stone), Jeong Jae-kwang (
The Witness) and Eum Moon-suk (
Confidential Assignment).
In
The Roundup, Lee reprises his role as βBeast Copβ Ma Seok-do who heads to a foreign country to extradite a suspect. But soon after his arrival, Ma discovers additional murder cases and learns about a vicious killer who has been committing crimes against tourists for several years. Son Sukku (
Nothing Serious) plays the antagonist. To catch an unprecedented criminal, Detective Ma and his team must go the extra mile (via

The Roundup is due domestically in Theaters on May 18th
