I honestly prefer the 80s and 90s to most eras in these movies. Nowadays there is so much slow motion and cuts its not even funny
Sure they sped things up but you could see dudes display their skills better

And I'm gonna be controversial here for a bit and say I actually like watching Shogun Assassin more than Lone Wolf and Cub. It's the soundtrack and all the familiar liquid swords samples.
