Lionsgate presents the long-awaited U.S. release for Haofeng Xuβs Judge Archer on DVD, which stars Yu Chenghui (The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom), Lvy Lee (Poor Rich Father) and Song Yang (The Final Master).
Haofeng Xu (The Final Master) made a name for himself by penning the screenplay for Wong Kar-Waiβs The Grandmaster β but due to that filmβs lengthy production process, Haofeng has managed to make not one but two movies of his own in the interim. The first was his directorial debut, 2011βs The Sword Identity, which received a release in North America from Lionsgate.
2013βs Judge Archer (aka Arrow Arbitration) features Haofengβs trademark of presenting the martial arts in a less stylized and more realistic manner, perhaps not unlike the 2007 Japanese film Black Belt or David Mametβs 2011 MMA flick, Redbelt.
Judge Archer is a historical picture that follows the title character as he resolves disputes between various martial arts schools, but is unable to put an end to the romantic and familial struggles that arise in his own home.

Director David Lam (Street Angels) and superstar Louis Koo (The White Storm) are back with S-Storm, the sequel to 2014βs Z-Storm. S-Storm follows the further predicaments of William Luk Che Lim (Koo) β a lead investigator in the ICAC unit (Independent Commission Against Corruption) β and his war with naughty organizations.
S-Storm features a mix of new and returning stars that include Julian Cheung (Flying Daggers), Vic Chou (Detective Gui), Ada Choi (Fist of Legend), Dada Chan (Z-Storm), Janelle Sing (Kung Fu Angels) and Bowie Lam (The Most Wanted).
