Seriously if you think that Lin and Shumpert were going to make difference your delusional this team as is does not have a long playoff run in them they might have a better regular season get a better seed and get out of the first round but thats where it stops.

Shut the fukk up. You're not even a real Knicks fan. :comeon:

How is keeping the same team that barely got into the playoffs and won 1 game in the playoffs considered a good offseason? This teams just not that good I don't see any long playoff runs with this team I hope i'm wrong but I just dont see it.

Cuz Melo Missed Mad Time

Then Played With An Injured Wrist

Then Stat Missed Time Cuz His Brother Died

Then They BOTH Missed Time Together

We Had A Coaching Change Mid Season

Shumpert Got Injured During The First Month And Missed Most Of The Playoffs

We Picked Up JR Late In The Season, Novak Didnt Even Play For The 1st 2 Months And Between Being Benched And Being Injured Lin Only Played Like 25 Games

Landry Fields Was A Detriment To Us, Now He's Gone

This Team Hasnt Played Together Much In All Reality

This Team Needs Time To Be Together, We Keep Shuffling This Team Theres No Consistency To Get Better EVER

I Dunno How Anyone Can Say This Is The Same Team That Started And Ended Last Season

THIS Team Hasnt Been Giving A Fair Shot

Lin & Shump are a very good young backcourt. Those two guys combined with Chandler played suffocating D in the 4th. Shump would shut down the no1 perimeter option with on ball pressure. Lin while not a good on ball defender he plays passing lanes very well & got mad steals.

They worked very good with Chandler as their safety net. Melo would chip in with occasional good D plays as well.

Lin is needed on this team now that Kidd & Nash aren't available. Lin is great at getting to the Basket. He's top 5 in the league at finishing at the rim (PG position) no question.

Lin needs to work on his handles and passing out of traps, Shump needs to work on draining his set 3 pointer. If both of those guys get better doing that...we are ready for a deep playoff Run (assuming we get JR, Novack back).

I like Foye & he's better than Fields offensively, not sure about his defense though
