I wouldn't give shumpert up for a 40 year old Nash. Please tell me this is out of the question

Nah, we cant beat the Heat with Felton, Kidd, or Miller. The only thing that makes me think about trading Shump is the injury. People just aren't the same after those injuries. Shump depends on his athleticism. Nash is old but, in great shape and he averaged double digit assists last year.

Nash is a defensive liability. Who's gonna guard the two guard if Shumpert is not there?

That's a good point man. I can't see JR(or Melo /Stat for that matter) stepping his D up enough or us picking up another free agent SG that plays the necessary D to make it fly. We need to make a move though. The Celtics are gonna be back due to their re-signings, the Heat are the Champs, D-Rose will be back, Sixers/Pacers gonna be better. There has to be a way for us to make this happen without giving up Shump........damn.

I really don't want to trade him either but, I want to win mannnnnn. I think I might be cool with it if they threw in a future 1st rounder. If this even happened, we would lose a chunk of our youth though.

Explain to me how we win with no one that can guard SG's. We absolutely can't let Shump go.
