OJ Mayo is a FA... id rather have him than JR smith brehs... if he'd take the paycut :sadcam:

Mayo is going somewhere to be a starter he wasn't coming here. Truth is, there isn't any players out there that are as good as J.R. and are willing to come here for the same amount of money we're paying him and to come off the bench. As for the pick, I like it, nobody we picked at that spot was gonna get any burn on this roster, so he can still develop his game overseas in the meantime, the pick made alot of sense to me:yeshrug:

Nice stashed pick. But remember, Knicks fans boo every pick.

A year ago y'all booed and walked out in disgust over Iman Shumpert. Now y'all are on his dikk heavy, so take those fans' reaction with a grain of salt.

He also wouldn't be getting any playing time. We should be set on the bench just adding fa if jr resigns along with Novak
Love to see Jerome Jordan and Jorts get more time .

It's not even about that. I don't think this pick affects whether Jordan plays more or not. We'll see what they do this summer.

I'm simply saying Knicks fans boo everything. Unless Adam Silver was saying "with the 48th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks select... fukk it, Anthony Davis from the University of Kentucky. Sorry New Orleans. Basketball reasons," the Knicks fans were gonna hate it.

The Reason Knicks Fans Boo The Picks Is Cuz 9 Times Out Of 10 There's Usually 5-6 Guys We Anticipate Them Picking, Their Names Are All Over The Papers And On Every Website, One Of Them Gets Picked In Most Mock Drafts And They're Usually Available By The Time Our Pick Comes Up

So Knicks Fans Sit Back And Wonder Which Of The 5-6 It Will Be

Then They Choose Not A One Of Them lol, They Choose Some Dude Who We Had No Idea Was On The Radar

Knicks Fans Dont Boo The Players, They Boo The Knicks lol

Undrafted guard Chris Smith will play for the New York Knicks’ summer league team, according to source.

It's Funny How People Like To Look Back And Laugh At US bytching About Our Own Pix But I Clearly Remember Every Pick Of Ours Being LAUGHED At By Others (At Least On Here) Too

Meanwhile We Had shytty Picks And Still Made Decent Worth Out Of David Lee, Wilson Chandler, Gallo, Shumpert, Fields And Harrison

Franceis weis, Slavko Vranes, Macej Lampe and now Kostas Papanikolaou :why:

That new luxury cap penalties holding back teams. We have to get real flexible this off season. We have to look at guys like Thabeet, Bayless, Foye, Mayo, K. Martin, R. Evans, Radmonvic (in case Novak cannot be resigned), Donte Greene, Jamison, Kidd, Tinsley.

With J.R. opting out, Knicks have to look for a replacement in case they cannot resign him. Even then, Knicks lacked toughness up front outside of Chandler. Adding a piece like Kenyon or Reggie Evans would help this team tremendously. I would definitely consider adding Jamison. I call him 'easy buckets'. Hasheem Thabeet has been a big disappointment so far. But, with his shot blocking ability and having a guy like Chandler around I don't see why he we couldn't get something out of him. Jeffries is a good defender, but he isn't an opposing figure. The NBA and Union will soon come to a settlement regarding bird rights. We might not be able to resign Novak. In case we can't, we have to look at a veteran like Radmonvic who has proven over his career that he can hit the 3....his defense on the other hand is laughable. Donte Greene is someone who I want on this team. A stretch 3 that can play the 4. His defense is okay and he's able to knock down the open shot. All this talk about Nash is laughable. We have to look at guys like Jared Bayless, Randy Foye, Kidd and Tinsley. Bayless with all his cockiness still haven't found his way but there's still talent there. Randy Foye is a good defender, very tough player.

Don't lump my boy kostas with those bums. How bout gallo ? Mozgov? They weren't busts . Noway the settlement involves us not being able to keep Novak . By the way I still dont get why the nba cares it's like they see a big market benefiting and was against the lockout so now they want to screw us
