I did'nt make a thread about Amare Stoudamire "singling" him out. We're in a Knicks thread discussing Knicks players. Thus the comment.

BTW, when you don't exercise and maintain your body, you tend to get injured a lot more and injuries (should they occur) tend to linger. But you knew that right?

The fact that I even had to break down "get in shape" as strictly gaining muscle or strictly cardio says a lot.

Thank you . I like Exo when he talks yanks but I'm confused if you meant game shape well that's hard to do without playing real games and Amare said he wouldnt have been ready for the season if it started on time .

I fully expect the ruling to go against the players ( Knicks ) because we always get the short end. I actually think its a fair argument if you get cut by a team and you get a chance somewhere else and beast they should be rewarded. Instead both team and player get screwed !

Also Isnt there a option to defer money in your contract or something till later now in the new CBa??

On the real amare needs no less than 17 shots a game he's our second best scorer. Then Lin who helps chandler with his alleys . We have more size than a lot of teams no reason go think we can't contend with a full season and getting home court in the first round over a lower seed

I agree. I think the key is Melo starting to get plays run for him, cutting & running off more screens then teams won't be able to set up on how to stop him in the post because he would have the ability to kill you from anywhere.

All I want Lin doing is learning how to dribble up the court contested all summer, working on a set 3 pt shot, and passing out of double teams. His ability to drive & finish at the rim is his gift & he's top five in the league point guard wise in doing that.

If these guys really work on their craft they can really compete for a finals appearance...I mean Boston is falling off. Philly & Indy can be taken by the Knicks now. The Heat if contested can be beaten...Melo beat this Heat squad by his lonesome this year. The Bulls just don't have all the pieces & with Rose injured like that...the window is there.

Cosign this post.Now that Coach Woodson has had a full off season I really want to see better plays called. I know he can do it because I saw how he would draw up plays during timeouts. Much better than Dantoni. If Lin can work on his handling I agree we officially have a squad. We have the pieces.. I want everyone back from last year except toney douglas and fields. I wouldn't even mind trading douglas for a pick and resigning billy walker.

Stephan a was writing the knicks obituary when they lost to the heat . It was ridiculous saying the heat arent going anywhere well wade looking finished and we could play better we have more pieces. The east could be wide open next year

The east is open OKC will win the chip this year. Other than Lebron, Wade, and Bosh that heat team is trash. A great team will always beat them. The finals will show that this year. Plus Durant is actually the best player on the floor in the finals not Lebron. Best player + better team = a wrap for the heat
