Jeremy Lin defends his decision to sign "poison pill" offer sheet with Rockets which led to his New York departure:

"I didn't go back to them and ask for more money," Lin told the San Jose Mercury-News. "It wasn't like they gave me the choice to sign one of the two and I chose the one that would hurt the Knicks. I had one contract offer. That was it."

Duded Signed With A Team Going No Where In A Boring Ass State For ONE Year For An Extra Million Bucks, Really!? I Hope He Just Did It To Raise His Own Stock For Next Year Cuz That's The Only Logical Reason I See.
Well, $1MM is $1MM, ya know...and it's probably a big hit to the ego for a player his age to take a veteran min. contract.

He'll have more playing time out there all year long, too...though they're pretty deep at the guard position now.

Anyway, we need an SG. Who's left? :beli:

for those that say we need a SG...the Knicks plans heavily revolve around JR.

yea but the thing is we don't have any depth there until Shumpert gets back.

ya I know...just never thought the Foye thing was legit considering he's better than JR imo....Knicks want JR to start and play.

Im sure they bring in some scrub to fill minutes eventually to fill the time before Shump gets back.

He's Not A Starter Though.

Granted People Gonna Say "Oh Woodson Is In Love With Him" Uhhh The Alternative Was LANDRY FIELDS

Now Granted I Myself Felt There Were Times Landry Should Have Been In Over JR But Once JR Gets Hot He's HOT And That's What Woodson Was Waiting For, Knowing That Landry NEVER Gets Hot

If We Had A Decent SG In Front Of Him That Can Shoot In The 40% Range I Have Hope That Woodson Wouldnt Be So Lenient Toward JRs Jack It Up Behavior

Remember JR Has Been Screamed At More Then Anyone On This Team

i thought Delfino was going to the Celtics.

How about bringing Michael Redd in for a workout? He showed he can still shoot it, and was healthy last year with limited min. Although, that was the Suns' medical staff.

No Michael Redd Please, I'd Rather Have Delfino

Woodson does love him though. So does Dolan apparently....he's going to get his shot this year.

You live and die with players like JR Smith...hopefully he's good JR more often than not.

Delfino can also guard 3's, which is useful since as of now we don't have a backup SF either (Novak at the SF? :scusthov:)
