:francis:..............:mjcry: Petro won that fight. I was super hyped at the prospect of seeing them throw down for the crown too.. Aoki and Holzken losing as well was just an extra kick in the nuts for me. Got me feeling like Larry Holmes
Yea he got robbed, judges grading the Thai on a curve because he didn't get blown out. Might as well match Yod and Petro up now in a reserve bout.

ONE "reviewed" the matchup and turned it to an NC. They wanted a rematch. Petch's team basically says fukk dealing with shady organizations.

:ohhh: Don't know how to feel about this. I believed clearly Petro won but it's very rare to see a fight get rescored like that.

I cannot remember the last time an organization, rather than an athletic commission, overturned a match. Even the Japanese organizations didn't go that far. Petch and/or his team have apparently decided to take a rematch.

The rematch between Giorgio Petrosyan and Petchmorrakot Petchyindeeacademy has been set. The pair first met mid May in Singapore squaring off in the quarter-final bout of ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix. The scheduled for three rounds bout went the distance and ended in a split decision taken by the latter. The following week the promotion overturned the decision, declaring the “No Contest”. The statement read that “the referee [Atsushi Onari] did not adequately control the illegal clinching, resulting in multiple infractions during the bout”.

After that the camp of Thai fighter announced a withdrawal of their athlete. Nevertheless, according to the press release sent out by ONE Championship on Friday, the second encounter has been locked in for July 12. The pair headlines an upcoming event billed as “Masters of Destiny” held in Kuala Lumpur.

“In the main event, striking superstars Giorgio ‘The Doctor’ Petrosyan of Italy and Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy of Thailand will do battle in a ONE Super Series Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Quarter-Final bout,” reads the announcement.

The winner of Petrosyan vs. Petchmorakot is expected to proceed to semi-final and take on Jo Nattawut. Another semi-final bout features Samy Sana up against Dzhabar Askerov.

The co-main event at ONE: Masters of Destiny is the women’s strawweight bout between the current atomweight champion Angela Lee and Michelle Nicolini. The rest of the card features a series of bouts in MMA, kickboxing and Muay Thai. The announced 13-fight lineup can be found below.

Where do y'all watch "free" Glory streams? I'm not about to start paying for Fight Pass, DAZN and ESPN+ is my limit, I wish one of those two would acquire Glory's broadcast rights

Petrosyan just beat petchmorakot in the rematch beautiful fight petrosyan was very technical, beautiful counters in the back foot and feint work on the offense, looked like he took a test on a book he read a thousand times
The way he side stepped some of those knees to clinch attempts :wow: great game plan for the rematch to win a decision

I would expect verhoven to have more ko's. He's technically great and his kicks at heavy are elite but I always think someone his frame should have heavier hands?
