I base this on two sources. One is Daniel Ghita himself on facebook. The other is a friend of Gokhan Saki who was traveling with him for the event where saki fought Verhoeven.

Ghita himself (Romanian) said on Facebook his people were cussed out by her. Called dirty gypsies and thieves and such. This happened when Verhoeven fought Peter Aerts and they were there for the event, cheering for Aerts.

Saki's friend said on a plane flight Verhoeven's girl called them "Turkish cancer"
Ghita later confirmed that Saki told him this story as well. I was told by Dutch kickboxing fans that Turkish cancer is a staple racial slur.

I realize this thread is kinda right now but GLORY is having an event on the 7th. They just posted this a few hours ago.

Daniels need to learn not to get his ass trapped in the corners, if dude is not able to move or make room for his style homie just shuts down and gets worked...

I think the result is the same no matter what. A spinning kick in the center of the ring is still going to get countered by a side step and a left hook


I just hope that with both fighters fighting fresh that Daniels can make it interesting for a few rounds.
