Movie is meh for me. Love the series as a whole but something wasn't hitting in this one. Honestly all the Chris Pratt ones I don't go back to watch like the original 3 JP films

Watched it yesterday, shyt was ehhhh

Movie didnt un-trash itself until they left those urban settings and got back to the essence (wherever that research dino island was)

Morale of the story is Jurassic Park movies aint for the streets

It was cool though to see the OG doc trio link back up, and I liked that "hey i know you" moment between dr. Grant and Owen for what it was.

Was disappointed they didnt bring back the Spinosaurus. Still need to see the OG T-rex throw hands with it one time.

Ranking it out of personal preference, I'd say

I think the middle 4 are fairly similar in quality though. Like JP3 is a solid film, technically better than its ranking but I like the action and settings in the other ones more.

1 is obviously classic. 2 was good for popcorn action. The rest can all go in the bushes.

For real, the formula collapses when you try to bring the dinos to civilization. It's like having Jaws end up getting beached on dry land.

On the island, when all manners of control fail, Mother Nature comes to whoop ass. You're in their territory at that point. JP2 logic falters when a T-Rex is allowed to terrorize a bigass city. San Diego has how many military bases? The T-Rex would have been dead when an attack helo shoots a Hellfire missile through its skull. JP3 got it right at the end, when it insinuated that if you go to the island, you better come packing heat, ala the Marine Corps coming to save Allen and the Kirbys.

JW has people acting retarded to make it work. Too many scenes when people should have unloading lead into the dinos, but running instead.

I personally liked the Locust idea. Now, I think the villain was a moron to release them but, idea wise, it makes sense that prehistoric creatures have no place in our world today and would destroy our ecosystem. The entire time I was watching the movie, I was wondering what these things were eating because I know whatever it is, it's not enough and they'd be killing too many animals. If it was up to me, all the carnivores would have to go...raptors included

They had a nerve to include a touching scene with the Momma Raptor like she's not dangerous as fukk and will likely start killing people
