I liked it. I honestly don't get the hate, but maybe my expectations were lower from JP5.
Whatever, I thought the action scenes were fire, new dinosaurs were scary, locations dope. Best of all the OG actors stole the show and they even sidelined corny Chris Pratt.
Jurassic Park is basically a perfect film in my book. I wouldn't expect a sequel to compare, but I think this is as good as any of the other sequels.

He was probably the best, him and Ellie. They felt true to their characters in the first film.

Movie was straight for me better than part 2 for me on first watch a rewatch will let me know whenever I decide to do that

Can someone spoil the ending for me?
I was 15 mins short of a hour in and this sht is pressure pyke to me
Was intrigued and grabbed by the plot as soon as it came on and love how the little things led to the big events getting kicked off. Suspense ran this film no matter how big or small.
Dinosaurs are actually scary , there’s more scenes that make you go “oh shyt” then any other JP film imo. They did their thing with this. JW2 was just a build up film for what we have now.
Granted I’m a Jurassic franchise fan boy… this was a cool film that caught my attention the first hour in.
Anybody expecting chills from the classic jp is simply living in the golden age to much. If any film was going to give you that feel it would’ve been JW1. This was a good film that did what it was suppose too.
I’m doubling back. Very soon.
I’d also like to add the balance of characters. No person stole the show imo. From the Dinos to the people. Everyone ate and did good when the screen time called for it. I like that.
I grew small attachments towards certain characters and wanted some to win/lose. That’s something the JW series work well on. This film showcased it throughly tho.

Happy ending. Dinosaurs still out there left alone. They can easily do more action, crazier sci-fi or straight up horror films in a world with humans and dinosaurs.
Dominion is only slightly better than Fallen Kingdom.
The problem is that the dinosaurs take a back seat to all the shyt that is going on with the evil genetics corporation. They should have made this film about chasing and neutralizing Giganotosaurus and a few other large predators before they cause havoc and destabilize the environment. That way they could remain the central focus of film and the it could have lived up to it's "dinosaurs in the real world" concept because I felt like this film fell way short of that.
