I been pocket watching the comments and engagement like Flip, he probably got well over 50k subs by now. Some at the highest tier.
What happened is the business model of paywalling the big episodes paid off because they were able to convert those "cash grab" subs into a retained audience.


Its like being a Twitch streamer but you keep more of the revenue. He could basically live off Patreon subs and gatekeep everything if he wanted. Youtube only pays well because of adsense.

We have no way of knowing how well it worked considering Joe keeps the Patreon subscriber numbers hidden. With all the stunts they've been trying to pull to milk money out of the current subscribers as well as shuffling hosts it seems like they are trying to find ways to increase revenue. It does reflect how a show move that is still growing would operate.

We had heat courtside back when we were all the way out in Aurburn fukking Hills, Michigan. They moved to the hood right before the pandemic now it’s always heat courtside. Joe is sick for thinking that. It’s always heat at all of our games and CAC heat at the Red Wings games.
