Just watched Pod Wives for the first time today lol. That’s an interesting take. Don’t you think Parks and Rem standout moreso because Rem seems to have less emotional baggage than everyone else given she’s younger? Everyone else seems to have lingering emotional baggage.

I mean, Rem has a life detached from Parks. She has her own friends, her own job, makes her own money, etc.

shadee seems like she’s pretty much obligated to do whatever Joe wants because he funds her entire lifestyle and can leave whenever he wants. Thats why he brags about breaking up with her so often. She knows she can’t survive without him unless she finds another trick which ain’t easy.

same with Ian’s wife on a smaller scale.

I want to say he has. He's very open about his dad's past drug use. I remember him calling his dad up one episode and he spoke on it. It was jokes on that one though. Think he called to ask him how crack was hittin back then compared to now

Yeah I’ve seen him joke around it for 1-2 minutes but never seriously talk about it. Joe muted up when Ish was talking about seeing his uncle and older people in his neighborhood transform from people he looked up to into crack addicts.

Depends on the circumstances how my reaction would be. I'm with you, if a woman is making more than me then we'll be balling. Never understood dudes having problems with that.
