This was the big difference to me. Wayne was at a diff spot in his career when this happened.

Let all this happen between C1 and C2 and I think Wayne would have gotten somewhat similar treatment. By the time his label issues came up to where we all knew about it, Wayne was already past his peak commercially and in terms of quality.

You missed the mark .....that convo is very deep and they couldn't go far because they do have relationships to protect . I see a bigger picture especially with Wayne ....he got fukked out more than just money.

These cats try to hide the fact they don't fck with Nas very poorly :hhh:

You can go right to the Nas thread and its cats in there saying the same thing, some nas fans arent looking forward to some of the songs with the young dudes. It's not some outlandish take

Personally I'm looking forward to those tracks. I could completely understand how a nas fan might feel away about seeing some of the people on the track list though

Deal? Lol

These dumb nikkas shat on spotify... why would you shyt on your boss, shyt on the people paying you?

I've been saying it for months... doing business with Joe is suicide, hes been fukkin up deals his whole career lmaooo

They coulda shut up about spotify, rogan, Michelle Obama, the money in podcasts etc.. and prob got a nice lil deal worth maybe a mill each.

Now they got nothing.. prob hoping Tidal throws em a lifeline

Taken by itself I can see that point, but as an avid listener of the pod for 3 yrs u can see a very clear double standard... same cats hype over the most basic Drake bar listen to Ultra black like nahhh, funny really :hubie:

I feel like they have the status now to start their own Podcast Network, but there's too many of them shyts so its probably too late.

They should really move to the Ringer Podcast Network (even thou that's now Spotify) if the bag is big enough.

Joe brought up a few podcast ago, when Trey Songz was going at James Harden for what he thought was a blue lives matter face covering that when you’re throwing stones like that you have to be ready for people to start digging on you

Joe ended up being right cause it seems Trey has pattern behavior of treating women terribly that’s now being brought to light

Also Joe shytted on Apple’s podcast app the entire time they were signing to Spotify. He going to look like a fool if the podcast ends up back on the app. I don’t understand why this man hasn’t learned not burn bridges

SOHH ICEY N.O.
Lil Wayne won his lawsuit Co owns his master's and is independent now and he is rich as hell I don't understand maybe they know something behind the scenes that I don't know

Yo Joe doesn't know a fukking thing.

I actually appreciate the effort to try and GENERATE some real conversation but he was juelzing everywhere

He was basically saying drake is a jew which is why he was able to get out of his issues so smoothly

However, there was nothing smooth about drake’s legal issues. It’s well documented how bad his paperwork was. He continued to stay hot which helped his leverage. Wayne did not, mostly due to his addictions and going to jail.

Joe is correct. Universal never ever woulda let drake albums to be pushed back years on years when he was still. High selling artist. They woulda paid whatever, universal was letting Wayne get raped for year on years. It didn’t just happen on the back end. He was getting raped from the go.

One of them( I think Joe said the podcast wave will die. I totally believe this because all this money is being moved to buy these smaller platforms that carry podcasts. You’ll have to be a big celebrity to get a pod eventually. I just hope if this podcast leaves Spotify that it don’t go anywhere where it’ll be hard to access. Just hop on over to beats radio or some shyt.

it means they don't have an exclusive deal anymore, in laymens terms they fukked up by over valuing themselves.

Man, if these dudes negotiated themselves out of any deal, and have to go back to putting the podcast on Soundcloud? shyt!

That's some self-destructive shyt smh
