Has anyone noticed Spotify suppressing the podcast during the negotiation period? Maybe I’m tripping but a few eps back I went on after it had dropped and the new episode wouldn’t show up on the podcast page. Finally I ended up switching the sort to unheard and it was there. I chalked it up as a glitch, but was still fishy cause it never happened before. Then yesterday I hop in the whip with my wife and just do a quick search for the podcast to play and it only brings up Joe’s music in the results. Typically by the time I type Jo... the podcast shows up. So I type the full podcast name and still nothing but Sleeper playlists. So I navigate to my library to play. My wife found that weird as well so she tries from her phone and gets the same thing and since she doesn’t follow them on Spotify, she had to scroll all the way to the bottom and click See all podcast episodes which then took her to a mix of unordered episodes and guest appearances on other podcasts. By this point I’m sure we all know it’s over for them and Spotify but that’s some fcksht if they are purposely trying to hinder their numbers for negotiation reasons.

this is an episode when the timestamps came into effect for me. once i heard joe say that about his teeth hurting, i just clicked on a timestamp or two to briefly check it, but wasn't good anyway. i didn't have a lot of time this weekend to listen anyway, so it worked out.
wonder when they will be able to discuss what the next move is...whether an extension with Spotify or other.
when he says step up, exactly what does he want them to do?

The others have to step up and be funny on their own lol. They’re kinda boring without Joe. Parks brings the insight and I like that. Rory and Mal be on that bullshyt sometimes.
I use the boring episodes for background noise when I'm just doing work. Doesn't bother me so much.
I disagree with the sentiment they need to go back to one episode a week. Too many times something big happened the following day after they recorded on Tuesday, to just get rid of the two ep format.
But what I think they should do is have theme'd shows for Saturday. If something big happened over the week (since they last recorded) spend proper amount of time on it, and then spend the rest of the episode on a main theme. Whether it be music related or life (preferably music), and talk about that. I'm not big on them having guest, but every once in a blue moon wouldn't be the worst thing. Definitely should not be more than once a month.

I don’t think they need people up there that have something to promote and they have to interview.
I think they need more “ friend of the show” episodes. Bridgette kelly, Young berg, justice , ice, etc
