There was a very weird vibe to this episode. I don't believe the sleep walking story at all. Then he went on a mini rant talking about facing obstacles as he's trying to reach a new level and he got hit with a new one. There's something that happened but he's not disclosing it.

I also think he feels a way about Ish not reaching out when he was MIA

Yeah the pod was weird. Even if the sleepwalking is true, it seems like a symptom of something else. He also seemed humbled during this pod. Seems like Joe could be slipping back into drugs and his close family and friends held some sort of intervention. That would explain his parents beefing, could be his Mom is upset that Joe’s dad isn’t taking the potential relapse seriously.

Like when I got caught masturbating through the door in the shared bathroom by my roommates friends in college and I told all my friends the next day that I had restless leg syndrome so when the story broke I could blame the shuffling sound on an illness and not Roxy Reynolds.
