Which is why he was half defending that BS and sounded dumb. Don’t even know what point he was trying to make. I’m sure the pod has gotten him some viewers but my view of him has changed from when I only knew him from FDS.

I hate how they look at mel as some sort of awards guru or something. She said "shogun did ok, but the bear swept.". She doesnt even watch the awards, the bear didnt sweep anything. It didnt even win the award for best comedy. While Shogun won for best drama, leading drama for actor and actress, plus like a dozen more in the techinical emmy stuff.

Also the bear winning emmys is seen as a joke because it's listed in the "comedy" category. Which is shyt studios do to get easy wins. They put a show that is mainly a drama that wouldnt be able to compete with the other dramas in the comedy category. For example I think "the martian" was put in the comedy category for the oscars.
