I agree with Ice on the Illmatic talk. I was 16 when that album dropped and I'm from Texas and never heard nobody playing that shyt nor talking about it or anything. Ppl from New York really think that album is like the holy grail. It is not, in fact it's pretty boring. Only time I seen Nas anything at that time was maybe on Rap City while waiting for a snoop video or ice cube or anyone else. Same goes for a lot of NYC rappers.
