Nah, Surf was doing his thing and podding. He meshed well with them, already been on a handful of pods. Also brought a nice younger perspective. Surf isnt your typical battle rapper he was making decent moves rap wise too. Had just got on one of those big festivals.

Battle rap shows aint a podcast. And if by battle rap shows you mean the intermissions for for url events with nunu/jayblack, that damn sure aint the same thing. They there to fill time between battles with nothing to go off of.
How many JBP podcasts episodes have you watched/seen with him? Because if you seen most of them you would know he is gold on JBP.
We not talking about some hypothetical shyt and guessing that Surf may be good on the pod. We know for a fact he is good on the pod. He was obviously being put in position by Joe to take a more permanent spot on the pod.
