Troy Ave really bombed on this podcast and Budden effectively. Dude said everything I always said about Budden and Charlamagne and Elliot Wilson and Akademics and all the whiteboys, etc... why do we give big platforms and big voices in hip hop to dudes who are wild corny? Lol. Why are these the people who tell yall how/what to think and feel? :gag:. No wonder everybody is a weirdo now in rap, fans and artists, 90% of the people with voices are dweebs

Besides Ak and Charlamagne, no one else has "power" like that. I can't speak for everyone but I tune into the podcast for a laugh (Joe clearly doesn't care about discussing music anymore), and the behind-the-scenes talks that they have. Joe, Mal, Parks, and Rory don't influence the way I feel about music or people:yeshrug:

I do have an issue with Ak and his platform. For music to be as broad as it is today, he only highlights BS and the same 5 Rap nikkas. His feed is essentially rappers boxing and weird posts like "OH shyt Lil Baby just got his 4PF snatched. Big L or Big W?" or "69 said that all rappers snitch. Faxxxxx or fiction?" Im sure he's heard a song or album that he liked from someone who doesnt have a buzz, why not give them a post or two. There are artists that make good music outside of the Billboard Top 100 yet his following would never know because that's all he posts.

Joe has by far the biggest Black Podcast in the game. He might not influence you directly, but he definitely has a lot of influence.
