He didn’t try hard enough this podcast. It was uncomfortable to watch. Even joe tries to quickly switch subjects now when he goes off the rails. I don’t see how both of them can stay. Mel ain’t gonna put up with that much longer

Depending how you define big star. To me and my peers, Martin was huge, but I don't know how big he was outside of the black community.

Id say Bad Boys 1 & 2 and the Big Momma’s House movies alone crossed Martin over enough to be known with white audiences. You don’t star as a lead in as many big studio movies as Martin did without having crossed over to some degree.
Ish having a bit of Mal vibes during the this movie discussions.
It's obvious that he doesn't know more about movies than M4, dude barely knows actors or seen the movies they're mentioning.
Also doesn't know anyone in Hollywood but talking with the loudest conviction like he's the former CEO of a studio
As far as black men goes, I got to question if this is not about men in general. Typing straight white men, or whatever will get the exact same negativity.
And when I think of black actors I think of Denzel, Freeman, Jackson, Poitier, Smith, Whitaker, Fishburn etc. Never seen them playing women in dresses. They are nitpicking to make a discussions. I can do that with white actors too, simple game.
And wasn't Jonathan Major in boxers and in a black founded, owned and operated magazine?

Flip is so strange when it comes to Melyssa. He got that "never been around a baddie" syndrome and it's really off putting. Say what you want about the other guys but at least they can have a convo with her without referring to her looks.
