I look at one of my boys in disgust. This man pays all the bills, does most of the cooking and cleaning and when he's off work watches the kids while his wife is a stay at home mom. At the very least you would think on Father's Day, Christmas, and his birthday she'd go all out. Nope. One of Christmas we were talking about what we got and I was hyped cause my two daughters hooked it up. This man sounded so defeated saying all he got was a t-shirt and some beef jerky. Meanwhile he spent all kind of money on his wife.

now that right there is the definition of a SIMP. over in TLR they bang that word to death in the wrong context. That's it right there. problem is you can probably try to point him in the right direction; but it probably will fall on deaf ears and end up negatively effecting your relationship with him. Ignorance and denial is the way for that type. At least he takes care of his fam I guess

Damn you spot on with this. We used to talk multiple times a week. It got to the point that he sounded so sad and depressed every time we talked that it was starting to fukk up my mental health. He even talked about suicide a few times which just pissed me off even more that he won't leave that situation. The worst would be hearing him talking and having to keep interrupting the convo to get on the kid's case or do something with them. Then I'd hear his wife say something and flip like "damn she can't even be bothered with the kids long enough to let you talk to your friends.".
