Are you just playing this dumb? Everybody know Wayne wasn't taken seriously until a few years after that. That's when most people consider his run as starting. It wasn't until around the Carter 1 release that anybody really gave a damn about a Wayne solo release. Busta had already been out for a few years and had crazy momentum due to shyt like Flava In Your Ear remix and Scenario Remix.
Only Wayne songs that really popped off was his little part on Back That Azz Up, the Bling Bling hook, and maybe Way of Life but I don't see none of them hitting his top 20 at all. Matter of fact I hear everybody always talking about how great Wayne would do at these but nobody ever drops a 20 for Wayne.

Wayne wasn’t taken seriously? Where are you from again? You obviously are out of touch or just don’t know wtf you’re talking about. He was already a platinum artist prior to Carter 1. Just because he didn’t become a household name and a superstar until a few years later he was still ACTIVE. Busta rhymes hasn’t done anything memorable since Look at me now in 20 fukking eleven, which Wayne was on as well.
