Basically says if they leave they aren't allowed to start another podcast, they aren't allowed to quit or Joe can sue them, but Joe can fire them at any point without compensation. ICE signed probably not knowing the details, Ish didn't sign because his lawyer said the contract was really bad and would leave him in a situation where he'd be liable to be sued by Joe with no recourse. Joe's mad that Ish got a lawyer to read the contract, claiming he wouldn't sue because they don't have anything Joe could take.

Anybody know what happened with the pod today? I didn't listen but I clicked the link and it said it was like 2 and a half hours this morning, then the reuploaded it and now its longer (pause).

If Joe didn't want to weigh in on the Cardi/Akbar fight that's fine, but whatever that convo was regarding who is a "Woman of Rap" or not was idiotic and a waste of time.

I don't know why people think KRS is for the people, dude is for himself and doesn't live like he learns.
He worked with the man his whole career, still working with them, even his manager is some British dude, shyt he even performed for republicans and shyt.
A lot of these old heads are semi-fraudulent when they try to act like their morals are unmatched, a lot of words, very little action.

Truth is that every business needs financing and music needs distribution and other services. Being a musician doesn't necessarily make you a businessman, more likely the opposite.
