I've noticed this kinda thing with a lot of ppl these days. I guess since we read all these net worth lists and see big numbers and see a few hip hop billionaires. Ppl scoff at some folks being worth "only 500 million" cause they comparing them to Bezos or Musk. I've been guilty myself I remember when Hugh Hefner died and they reported his net worth at 50 million, I remember thinking that's all. It's crazy how we count all these folks money and they got more than most of us will could ever dream about.

Not to mention this weird idea that only a billionaire can have generational wealth so you have to get there. Brady is allegedly worth 250mil, his wife is nearly worth double. Add in the massive 375mil Fox contract he's getting after he's done playing and he's already close to 1B without another year of concussions/missing his children's school/sports events/not being there for his wife etc. His wife who postponed her lucrative career to raise his children, mind you. Speaking of which, the dismissive way they spoke about her. As if Tom's entire family structure and career wouldn't have been blown up if 10-15 years ago his wife said you know what, I'm chasing a B and won't be home to raise the kids, you can get them tutors and babysitters.

I think it's cause of the way Joe blows through money he thinks it takes a crazy amount to have generational wealth. It's so many people out there that go so hard to appear rich that it would take a lot more money for them to actually be rich. While others know how to make money stretch.

I was just listening to that Cam'ron Million Dollars Worth of Game interview. He was talking about trading off his publishing because he'd already took his deal money to buy a house but didn't think it would look right if he didn't have a fly ride to go back uptown in. So he sold his shyt despite his accountant begging him not to do it.
