They're not very intelligent people. They don't give a fukk about the working class person. They have shown that repeatedly. What's interesting is I doubt that either of those dudes made that a year before the podcast. With that said, you're talking about Manhattan. The average rent is cheaper in the Bronx, Queens, Upper Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, etc. And there are a lot of rent controlled apartments. It's just that if you want to live in the city proper then you're going to be taxed. Granted all parts of the city have risen significantly.
