That's why I just laugh at this new age over-excessive push for being an entrepreneur. Not saying you should ever not have multiple streams of income or if it's what you wanna do, own a business, but it's definitely not as easy as people think.

I worked with my people's for 10 years who owns their own Chiropractic business and the entire time, I made more then THEM most times and they're the mf doctor! She was brining in 6 figures yet, but it was inconsistent due to insurance delays etc., and plus like you mentioned, so many expenses and money you gotta pour back into it.

I knew I wasnt built for no shyt like that seeing it behind the scenes. Let somebody else do that shyt and just break me off nice.
It don't help that a lot of people want to stunt so they mention how much revenue they bring in as business owners instead of mentioning the total profit. I had a friend that does hair and was talking about how she made nearly as much as I did but she was talking gross revenue. I pointed out the expenses of all the products she bought, rent she had to pay for her salon, licenses she had to get and after all that the number was nowhere close. For most people though they hear that she brought in near 100K and think that's the route to go.

Not knocking entrepreneurs at all and much respect to those that make it work for them. I just know how much work goes into it and that it ain't nearly as glamorous and painted by a lot of business owners cause they want to keep up appearances.

My home girl bout to bring in a 100k she works three days a week . Her new salon she pays double for suite rental but it’s better location and she doesn’t have to deal with any salon owner . She has her own space it was worth the peace of mind . It’s not easy for sure but it’s worth it for her . Shawty so cold she could close her books and not take any new clients because her clients are that consistent .
